Install and Use Excel App on the iPad


  1. To use Microsoft Excel from your iPad, first download the app from the app store. Start from your home page:

  2. Search for Excel in the app store:

  3. Choose the Excel app:

  4. Download Excel:

  5. Check out your home screen apps now. You should see the Excel app:

  6. Open Excel and log in with your Stratford University email and password:

  7. You’re all set to create and edit documents:

  8. The Excel “home page” gives you the option of creating a worksheet from a blank form, or by using one of their templates. Some of their templates include budgets, invoices, inventory, organizers, and more!

  9. Are you creating an Excel spreadsheet that will require certain calculations? Let Excel do the Math!

  10. In this example, we’ve used the “Sum” formula to add the numbers in Column A:

  11. Use the Formulas tab to check out everything Excel can calculate:

  12. Save your document!
